The Teams
The teams include nurse educators based in organisations in seven different countries. Some of these countries already had established cultural links through European education networks. Other teams had an interest in building links, because of the movement of workforces across their own national borders. The institutions in which they work support their team’s involvement and a wider network of contacts exists in the form of ‘sleeping partners’ in each country. These are health service organisations, professional bodies and nurse leaders in each country, who are interested and supportive of this work. The teams are not official representatives of their countries, but enthusiasts for intercultural work.
