German Students evaluation

Method (Evaluation of Appreciative Inquiry in relation to the project)

  • Difficulty to get into the methodology of AI, maybe because we only joined half way through
  • The method was new to us

Process (Evaluation of the project)

  • We enjoyed the opportunities in participating with the motilities and getting to know the partners and the countries, universities, hospitals, pubs, etc. However, at times it was difficult for us to follow the work process. This was partly because we only joined the project half way through and partly because we were not so intensely involved in the national work. We have learned a lot!
  • The Website as a project product is a very good way to present the project and the results

Discovery Experiences

  • Very warm and friendly atmosphere
  • Get in touch with professionals (nurses and clinical teachers) from abroad
  • Learned about nurse educational systems abroad and in the light of this re-evaluate our German educational system
  • During the project: role-conflict (student and professional)
  • lost fear to speak English
  • hosting the meeting, we learned to introduce the own faculty and organized an international meeting
  • valuable experiences to see people from seven different nations working together

Dream Opportunities (Within and beyond the project)

  • studying abroad
  • practical training (internship) abroad
  • international networking (uni co-operations)
  • Increased cultural sensibility
  • Internationalization of our department (international day(s))
  • Increased language skills

Project outcome

  • International use of the framework developed for nurse mobility
  • Make outcomes of project possible and practical in healthcare practice
  • Inclusion within curriculums of Internationalisation and mobility within nurse education
